My life would not be complete without some furry and cuddly friends laying around the house, reminding me to take a break from the latest project I’m working on to pop my head outside for some fresh air and a walk around the woods. Duke and Zoey do just that! And if not outside, they are by my side, nestled right on either side of my chair when I’m at my desk or following me around whenever I move.Â
Salty Old Duke
We like to call Duke our salty dog. At nearly eleven years old, this Labradoodle is the wise old dog that walks around blanketed in calm seriousness, watching out for things out of place. Normally quiet and nonchallant, he’ll announce his presence and hierarchy with one, deep bark that will make you think twice about messing with his family. But beyond that bark, he is a friendly cuddler that will nudge you with his nose if you don’t hug him enough.
Zesty Zoey
Zoey is the zesty, young ball of energy that only stays still when she’s sleeping. She is a happy-go-lucky mutt that wakes up Duke by attacking his feet, runs around the yard at lightening speeds, and will greet you with the biggest smile that never fades.
These two mutts are a constant spark of creativity and awesome companions.
