We built the session around three storytelling environments:
1. A POLISHED, CONFIDENT PRESENCE: IN HER LIVING ROOM
Here, the mood was warm and professional. Clean lines, soft textures, and calm tones allowed Lauren’s personality to take center stage. These images now serve as her “welcome moments” across her website.
2. A GLIMPSE INTO HER REAL WORK: IN HER HOME OFFICE
This environment gave us the authentic, lifestyle-driven moments her brand was craving. Lauren working, thinking, sipping her coffee, reviewing notes - the everyday rhythm clients would naturally recognize in her.
These images help potential clients feel like they already know her, long before they sit down with her.
3. A SENSE OF GROUNDED STRENGTH: ON THE DOCK OUTSIDE
Out by the water, Lauren settled into a confident, steady energy that translated beautifully in her portraits. These images communicate resilience and clarity - qualities essential to her work as a coach and leadership mentor.

This session unfolded as part of Louisa Vilardi’s photography workshop, where I had the opportunity to observe, collaborate, and learn from Louisa’s gift for guiding clients with ease. Her influence shaped the entire flow of the session:
